Don’t know to attach more pics or my official diagnosis but I supposedly have a subependymoma in my fourth ventricle which is rare for someone my age as it is more common in childhood, and when found in young adulthood, it is located in the spine. I am a 22-year-old female. I am posting after surgery (had 12 hour surgery on Friday, today is Monday at 5am). It is really fucking hard. Was not prepared. Only allowed 1 visitor every other day. Can’t eat or drink on my own. Can’t spit or swallow. I shit in a bedpan. I was supposed to be finishing my last year of school.
If you have any tips for a difficult post op period (what else should I buy or bring), that is also greatly appreciate.
Thank you guys, I’m just struggling and scared.
